#1. About the projcet

This project is about refugees immigration through the sea, leaving a whole life behind them and willing to start a new secure life.

The idea was inspired by this sentence of Federico García Lorca - Variación:

Die Stille im Wasser unter dem Laub der Sterne.

( The silence in the water under the leaves of the stars. )

#2. Creative ideas

I used Acrylic, and I drawed by hand without any brush.

I drawed without thinking I was just moving my hands depending on my feeling to make it emotional.

Color used: Black, for obscurity for the night.

Red, For Blood, dedicated for all the refugees who died through the sea.
